Students engage in the Australian Curriculum Learning Areas of:

  • HASS
  • The Arts including specialist Music, Media Arts, Visual Arts, Dance, Drams lessons
  • Languages – Japanese year 4,5,6
  • Technologies - Design and specialist Digital lessons
  • HPE - Health and specialist taught Physical Education

The Australian Curriculum includes the General Capabilities of:

  • Literacy
  • Numeracy
  • Information and Communication Technology
  • Critical and Creative Thinking
  • Ethical Behaviour
  • Personal and Social Competence and Intercultural Understanding. 

 
It also includes the Cross-curriculum Priorities of:  

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures
  • Asia and Australia's engagement with Asia
  • Sustainability.


These General Capabilities and Cross Curriculum priorities are explicitly taught within each of the Australian Curriculum Learning area.
