Eimeo Road State School has a proud tradition of providing quality education to students from across the rapidly growing Northern Beaches area of Mackay. Our student population draws from our enrolment managed catchment area of Eimeo, Blacks Beach, Dolphin Heads and Rural View. We envisage a school where every student is learning, succeeding and flourishing in a positive, caring environment. We believe strong, positive relationships between all members of our school community are the foundation to supporting the success of all students.

Features include:

  • a combination of single and open area classrooms

  • a modern library

  • tuckshop

  • extensive sporting facilities to cater for the following: basketball, netball, tennis, and cricket

There are three adventure play facilities, two large well-grassed ovals as well as several sun protected activity areas.

This school provides opportunities for all students to reach their academic, cultural and sporting potential by:

  • Deep Learning in all year levels with a repertoire of High Impact Teachng Strategies which encourages our students to think deeply

  • Providing an accredited Positive Behaviour for Learning Program (PBL) which recognises student's efforts with special awards and provides a consistent approach to discipline

  • Participating in extension activities like academic competitions, reading challenges and an Indigenous extension program online
