Eimeo Connect@
We want your child to feel safe, secure and eager to learn when they begin their learning journey at Eimeo Road SS. Our Eimeo Connect@ groups provide a range of support networks and opportunities for children and parents.
Eimeo Connect@Playgroup
- for mums and dads with children 0-5 years (grandparents very welcome too)
- children participate in story time, games and self-selected activities
- parent supervision required
- held every Thursday morning 9am – 10am (all year)
- facilitated by ERSS early childhood staff
- morning tea for parents provided by ERSS
Eimeo Orientation Connect@Prep Transition
- our formal 5 week group transition program for children attending kindergartens and early childhood education centres (ECEC)
- immersion program in which children join with Prep students in class to complete activities and class routines
- ECEC staff supervision required
- Wednesday morning 9.15am – 10am (Term 3 Weeks 8-9 and Term 4 Weeks 2-4)
Eimeo Connect@ECEC (Early Childhood Education Care)
- our ERSS staff liaise regularly with ECEC directors and staff throughout the year
- visits to ECEC by the Principal/DP, Head of Special Education Services, Prep teachers and Indigenous teacher aide occur during Term 3 and Term 4

Our staff are continually striving to improve their practice and, in conjunction with the local ECEC, Bucasia SS and St Brendan's Catholic School, we have formed the Northern Beaches Early Years Network. This is a professional group for cross-sector early childhood educators and teachers passionate about young children's learning in the Northern Beaches community. It is facilitated and chaired by the Early Years Deputy Principal at ERSS and meets once per term.
